The current whereabouts of illegally detained Ukrainian Halyna Dovhopola remain unknown since February. Lyudmyla Denisova, the Ukrainian parliamentary envoy for human rights, posted that on Facebook.

"Since the beginning of February 2020, there has been no official confirmation where actually the illegally detained Ukrainian citizen Halyna Dovhopola is held in the Russian Federation. Dovhopola was detained by the law enforcers of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea on November 27, 2019. Later, she was arrested for the alleged state treason. The last known place of detention of the Ukrainian citizen is the 2nd remand center of Russia's Federal Penitentiary Service in Moscow," Denisova wrote

The ombudsman turned to Tatyana Moskalkova, her Russian counterpart, asking to take steps to confirm the whereabouts of Halyna Dovhopola and check if her rights are observed. Dovhopola's family and lawyers still have no updates on her health conditions, or whether she needed any medical or legal assistance.
