The Ukrainians saw no President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in the foreign policy but his predecessor Petro Poroshenko. And people do not want it as 112 Ukraine reported citing Nestor Shufrych, Parliamentarian, Opposition Platform – For Life.
“In the foreign policy, unfortunately, we have not seen Zelensky, we saw Poroshenko: we again aim to the EU and NATO, where nobody is waiting for us. And we do not want to hear it; we lose the possibilities, which we could find at other directions; we lose the possibility to implement the policy of the healthy Ukrainian pragmatism,” he said.
Besides, Shufrych emphasized that the Ukrainians should not expect the reduction of the tariffs for the public services.
“Unfortunately, there is no point to expect that the tariffs will reduce as it should be and as our citizens deserve; it will not take place in the next few months. Because Zelensky has not signed the order and has not stopped the action of the regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers #867 dated October 19, 2018, which increased the price for gas by 23,5% without any ground and due to which the tariffs were increased by 30%”, the MP noted.
