Ukrainian leader thanked the Prime Minister for their full support to Ukraine, in particular, for the support of the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The parties discussed the prospects of negotiations on Donbas.
Zelensky also noted the importance of Sweden as a partner for Ukraine, especially in the trade sphere.
Volodymyr Zelensky urged Stefan Löfven to increase Sweden’s investments in Ukraine's economy, including the spheres of energy efficiency and recycling.
As we reported, Zelensky is visiting in New York to participate in the 74th UN General Assembly. He was reported to have a big one-hour meeting with his American counterpart Donald Trump as part of his working visit to the US.
Volodymyr Zelensky will perform with a speech during the general debates of the UN General Assembly, as well as participate in the Sustainable Development Goals Summit.
Besides, the President would have the number of bilateral meetings with foreign state leaders.
His program also includes the meetings with the leaders of the Ukrainian Community in the USA and business representatives.
Zelensky and Jens Stoltenberg, the NATO Secretary-General held the meeting at the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
He also met with Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte.
