Ursula von der Leien, the President of the European Commission expressed her condolences over the fact that Ukrainian civilian aircraft crashed in Tehran on Wednesday morning. The official posted that on Twitter.

"My deep condolence to all those who lost their loved ones in the disaster of Ukrainian aircraft. Currently, specialists in aviation security look into the reason for the disaster so as to provide answers to this horrible tragedy", the statement says.

As we reported, Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines, flight PS752 with 180 passengers aboard crashed in Tehran, not far from Imam Khomeini airport.
