Kyiv and Washington's united efforts in providing humanitarian assistance for Donbas residents was the main topic for discussion between U.S. special envoy for Ukraine's affairs Kurt Volker and Ukraine's minister for occupied territories Vadym Chernysh.

Next, the U.S. diplomat will head to Dubai for the meeting with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov. The sides will talk through the deployment of UN peacekeepers in Donbas.
