U.S. Special representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker comes to the government-controlled part of Donbas on Tuesday. Then he is supposed to visit Kyiv.
The main goal of his visit is to witness the current situation in embattled eastern Ukraine and assess the level of humanitarian crisis in the region.
In particular, Volker will join the ceremony of passing the humanitarian assistance for Ukraine, which amounts to 125 million dollars. The costs are supposed to go for development of the country’s economy.
