Verkhovna Rada Speaker Dmytro Razumkov hopes that the next year's talks in the Normandy Format will be able to break the current deadlock. He stated this in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda.

"I still hope we can get out of this blind corner that we actually see at the level of the Normandy format. As you can tell, this year has passed, but this is not Ukraine's problem, unfortunately, it is a problem of one or another negotiator, whose position is quite destructive as for the Trilateral Contract Group, and for the Normandy format, I am talking about Russia. In this regard, the parliament will also be ready to join the process," said the official.

Razumkov also noted that a change in the dynamics in terms of economic development would be among the challenges that awaited Ukraine in 2021.

As we reported earlier, Dmitry Peskov, Vladimir Putin's Press-Secretary, said that a next summit in the Normandy format could be held after reviewing the level of implementation of the Paris Agreements.
