Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has not supported the government’s action program presented by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal. Only 207 MPs voted for it.

The online broadcast was provided by 112 Ukraine TV channel.

The new program was expanded to 85 pages (the first version had 10). The document provides for further European integration, policy on the occupied territories, creating conditions for business development.

Besides that, annual indexation of pensions, simplification of unemployment benefits, economic support in the context of a coronavirus pandemic (and more) are also envisaged.

It is also planned to receive a regime of the internal market with the EU in the field of telecommunications services, as well as integrate into the EU Digital Single Market.

As we reported earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal instructed the head of the Ministry of Finance, Serhiy Marchenko, to publish data on the use of the funds of the Coronavirus Foundation and conduct its audit.
