Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has unlocked the signing of the law on the opening of land sale market. 112 Ukraine TV channel hosted the online broadcast.

It should be noted that 13 resolutions on the abolition of this law, which blocked its signing for the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov and for the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, were registered on the Parliament's website.

Nevertheless, none of these resolutions was endorsed by the Ukrainian parliament.

As we reported earlier, on March 31, Ukraine’s parliament opened the land sale market - 259 MPs voted for that.

According to the law, ordinary Ukrainians can become land market participants.

Legal entities, directly founded by citizens of Ukraine, the state and territorial communities shall become land sale market participants only since 2024.

However, the process was quite scandalous.

The idea of Zelensky’s team met with resistance among a number of political forces opposing the sale of land, while agrarians held rallies under the Verkhovna Rada and blocked state highways in protest.
