"The bill aims to provide social guarantees and support for privileged categories of children, as provided by current legislation, by financing the rehabilitation and recreation of children in need of special attention and support in children's health and recreation facilities of the highest category, which are located in mountainous areas, at the expense of the state budget," the statement said.

As we reported earlier, teachers and students at Ukrainian schools have to buy medical masks at their own expense because the authorities have not allocated money for the purchase of personal protective equipment.

"I want to remind you that in the spring the mono-majority sent $ 2,5 billion to fight Covid. Tomorrow, on September 1, school starts, and although $182,000 was taken from the educational sector to fight the coronavirus, now these funds are necessary for children and teachers to be provided with masks. Not a penny was allocated. 450,000 teachers for their salaries, but they do not receive 4,000 dollars, as some promised, they will buy masks and antiseptics," MP of the European Solidarity faction Iryna Gerashchenko stated.
