The Ukrainian parliament has appointed Olha Pishchanska as the new head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU). 255 MPs voted for the corresponding resolution №3856.

The online broadcast was conducted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"To assign Pishchanska Olha Stanislavivna to the position of the Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine," the text of the resolution reads.

Thus, Pishchanskaya has officially replaced the previously dismissed Yuriy Terentyev. In September 2019, she was assigned for the post of First Deputy Chairman of the AMCU.

As we reported earlier, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has appointed Kyrylo Shevchenko as a new Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine.

"In accordance with Clause 18 of Article 85 of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine resolves: To appoint Kyrylo Yevhenovych Shevchenko to the position of the Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine," the text of the draft resolution reads.

It should be noted that Shevchenko has been the Chairman of the Board of Ukrgasbank since May 2015.
