Venezuelan MPs to demand that Russia take its troops away

A group of lawmakers of Venezuela will be demanding that Russia withdraw its military from the country. TASS news agency reported that. 

'We join the demand of MP Marquina, urging Juan Guaido as the Commander-in-Chief to immediately order these gentlemen to leave, as in this particular moment, they invaded the Venezuelan territory', MP Eliezer Sirit said during his speech at the Parliament.

He reiterated that the National Assembly is the only authority in this country to allow the stay of foreign troops.

Earlier, we reported that the Russian military aircraft arrived in Venezuela. Ilyushin Il-62 and Antonov An-124 landed at Simon Bolivar International Airport in Caracas on Sunday. Dozhd, the Russian TV channel, reported that, citing journalist Javier Malorca.

'99 Russian military servicemen came to the airport; they were led by Vasiliy Tonkoshkurov, the Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces reached the airport', reads the message on the TV channel's website. 

Judging by the data of air naigation online services, the planes arrived from Syria.
