USAID to provide Ukraine with refrigerators to keep Pfizer vaccine

USAID, the US Agency for international development intends to pass Ukraine special refrigerators for storage of Pfizer vaccine in extremely low temperatures. Press office of the US Embassy reported that on Facebook.

"To assist Ukraine in conducting the vaccination, USAID helps prepare to get the Pfizer vaccine and other approved vaccines, rendering direct support for chains of ultracold storage and transportation", reads the message.

The organization will also join the information campaign regarding the vaccination.

Earlier, we reported that Ukraine made a deal with Pfizer pharmaceutical company. It provides for supply of ten million doses of vaccine from Covid-19. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla negotiated about that in February. Press department of the Office of the President reported that the deal was signed on April 6. "It is a crucial day for Ukraine and Ukrainians; today, we finally signed the important contract with Pfizer company, which envisages the supply of 10 million doses of Pfizer vaccine. It was a tough deal to strike, but thanks to the conversation with CEO of the company Albert Bourla, which I had on February 8, he promised he'd to everything possible and impossible. And he did it", Zelensky said.
