Russia's close air support aircraft encountered U.S. fighters over Syria.
Two Su-25 planes entered the airspace over Euphrates, which is secured by the intertional coalition; they were intercepted by two F-22 stealth fighters, which fired the warning shots on them, CNN reports.
The encounter lasted for about 40 minutes, before the Russian aircraft eventually left the area.
Previously, the international coalition, which includes both Russia and the U.S. established a no-fly zone over Syria to separate the flights of the combat aircraft of Russian and American Air Forces.
