Kuleba stressed that this decision by the United States "will increase the capabilities of the Ukrainian Navy, will help withstand existing and potential threats in the Black and Azov Seas."
"This support, together with the reform of the security and defense sector and the defense industry, will help Ukraine develop modern, operatively NATO-compatible Armed Forces capable of effectively resisting Russian aggression," the Foreign Minister said.
Earlier the commander of the Navy Olexiy Neizhpapa said that this year the Ukrainian fleet will be replenished with 16 boats of the Mark VI type. Some of these boats will be sent to the Sea of Azov.
