The US does not plan to remove sanctions against Iran to hold negotiations. This was announced by US President Donald Trump on his Twitter.

“Iran’s foreign minister says Iran wants to negotiate with the United States, but wants sanctions removed. No  thanks!” Trump wrote.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that Iran is still open for negotiations with America in the event of lifting the sanctions.

“For Donald Trump, it is better to base his comments and foreign policy decisions on facts, not on the headlines of Fox News or his Farsi translators,” Zarif wrote.

Earlier, it was reported that the US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on a number of petrochemical companies that collaborate with the Iranian national oil export company and thus help finance the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
