Blinken also shared his expectations from the session of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna. Secretary of the State once again confirmed his support of diplomacy as the only responsible way of moving forward, and he claimed that there will be no substantial discussions about Ukraine without Kyiv's part. He added that if Russia chooses the path of further conflict, the U.S. and their allies and partners will be ready to inflict huge losses on the Russian economy, increase the NATO presence in allied countries and boost the military aid for Ukraine.

The officials discussed the further implementation of the package of deterrence of Russia from further aggression, including "tough economic sanctions against Russia and practical boost of defense capacity of Ukraine's Armed Forces", the Foreign Ministry added.
