The United States will keep working on providing Ukraine with assistance in the security area, including lethal arms. The Voice of America reported that citing Ned Price, the official representative of Department of the State.
According to the spokesman, Secretary of the State Antony Blinken met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Brussels on April 13, as foreign ministers of NATO member countries gathered on a summit.
"We discussed the prospects of close cooperation and Ukraine's partner support, including that concerning Ukraine's needs in the security area", Price said.
The official expressed support for Ukraine, its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Earlier, the US Senate Committee for Foreign Affairs endorsed the draft law on partnership with Ukraine in the security area. The bill provides for an increase of the size of annual military aid for Ukraine.
