"Iran said on Wednesday the United States had agreed to remove all sanctions on Iran's oil and shipping," the message reads.
As Rouhani's chief of staff Mahmoud Vaezi, told Reuters, an agreement was reached between Iran and the United States to lift all sanctions on Iran's insurance, oil and shipping, which were imposed by former US President Donald Trump.
"About 1,040 Trump-era sanctions will be lifted under the agreement. It was also agreed to lift some sanctions on individuals and members of the supreme leader's inner circle," Vaezi said.
Meanwhile, Russia is preparing to supply Iran with an advanced satellite system that will give Tehran an unprecedented ability to track potential military targets across the Middle East and beyond. The Washington Post reported that citing current and former US and Middle Eastern officials.
According to the officials cited by the Post, Iran would get a Russian-made Kanopus-V satellite equipped with a high-resolution camera which will allow Tehran to “continuously keep an eye on facilities ranging from Persian Gulf oil refineries and Israeli military bases to Iraqi barracks that house US troops”, the Post reported.
