The U.S. continues to provide military support to Ukraine in accordance with its needs as Interfax-Ukraine reported citing United States Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

“We have provided some financial assistance to Ukraine in the past and we hope to carry it on. The architecture of the national security will always offer our president a number of variants that focus on the use of all elements of the national authority that we have when we consider variants to provide to the president,” Austin said.

He specified that the U.S. aid to Ukraine includes non-lethal materials, some types of armament, and trainers.

The United States Secretary of Defense has urged Russia to respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

As we reported, Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak asked to deploy the American surface-to-air missile system MIM-104 Patriot in the territory of Ukraine.

Earlier, HATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg stated that Russia should stay away from issues related to Ukraine's aspirations to join the NATO
