U.S. Special Counsel Mueller submits Trump-Russia report to U.S. Attorney General

U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller finished his investigation into Russia’s role in the U.S. presidential election and any potential wrongdoing by U.S. President Donald Trump, as Reuters reports.

Mueller submitted the report to Attorney General William Barr, the Justice Department, who has to make conclusions of the investigation into Russia’s role in the U.S. presidential election and then represent it in the Congress.

“The next steps are up to Attorney General Barr, and we look forward to the process taking its course. The White House has not received or been briefed on the Special Counsel’s report”, - Sarah Sanders, Press Secretary of the White House posted on Twitter.

According to CNN, Mueller’s report, which is very detailed, has been seen by only a few people. The content of the report on the Russian case is still unknown, although the channel has already proclaimed Trump the winner in the confrontation with the Democrats.

CNN says that Mueller’s report does not have new accusations, and it does not recommend further investigation.

Robert Mueller declared that his service as the U.S. Special Counsel would end soon.
