The draft law on the increase of American military aid for Ukraine can be approved on the session of the U.S. Senate's Foreign Affairs Committee. Robert Menendez, the chair of this Committee told that to Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. Yevropeiska Pravda reported that, citing the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.

"Robert Menendez assured Dmytro Kuleba in unwavering support of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, and the readiness of US Senate to keep supporting its strategic partner, especially in conditions of escalation of Russia's aggressive actions", reads the message.

According to the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, the bill includes a provision about providing defensive lethal arms for Ukraine's military.

Menendez also said that the growing military presence of the Russian Federation on the Ukrainian border and the related threats for Europe cause huge concerns in the U.S. Senate. The Head of the Foreign Affairs Committee added that any phase of non-provoked Russian aggression will have tough consequences for the Kremlin.
