Donald Trump came back to the United States after his first international journey as the US president.
As Reuters writes, "Trump flipped traditional U.S. foreign policy upside down on his tour through the Middle East and Europe, coddling Middle Eastern leaders with questionable human rights records while demanding traditional European allies pay more for their defense".
Before leaving Italy after G7 summit, Trump addressed American soldiers at the NATO military base Sigonella, where he announced that he was leaving Italy hoping that US and its allies will manage to "eradicate the terrorism that plagues humanity", according to Fox News.
Trump’s wife Melania also said at the American base that her husband worked a lot during this trip and she’s very proud of him.
In eight days Trump visited Saudi Arabia, where he signed a number of multibillion contracts, Israel, Belgium and Italy, where he took part in G7 summit. In Brussels US president visited informal meeting of NATO member states’ leaders.
