Syrian army reported that the missile attack delivered by the U.S. troops on Friday morning led to deaths of six men; significant damage was done to Shayrat airbase in Khoms province.
According to governor of the province Talala Barazi, three servicemen and two civilians lost their lives; another seven were injured.
Earlier today, the U.S. Navy conducted a massive missile attack on the governmental forces of Bashaar al Assad in Syria. Many media have been treating it as the retaliatory action in response to the recent chemical attack in Idlib province.
Pentagon reported that 59 missiles were fired, insisting that the target was Shayrat airbase; that’s where the chemical attacks on Idlib province were launched from, as the U.S. government put it.
