US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said that America is ready to cooperate with Russia, Iran and North Korea after the introduction of sanctions. This is said in his statement, published on the website of the US State Department.
"The almost unanimous vote for the imposition of sanctions in Congress represents the will of the American people to see that Russia is taking steps to improve relations with the United States, and we hope that our states will cooperate on major global issues, and these sanctions will no longer be needed," he said.
Tillerson also noted that the US is ready to work closely with Russia, Iran and North Korea.
"The United States will work with its allies, so that a message to Russia, Iran and the DPRK be clearly understood," the secretary general concluded.
Earlier it was reported that Trump had approved and intends to sign a bill on tightening sanctions against Russia, Iran and the DPRK.
