France, Germany, Great Britain and the United States condemn the launch of Iran's own rocket carrier. This is said in a joint statement of four countries, published on the website of the US State Department.
"By the launch of the Simurg missile on June 27, Iran violated the UN Security Council resolution, and we condemn this action," the report said.
It is noted that the resolution calls on Iran not to take action related to launching ballistic missiles. According to the statement, space launch vehicles use technologies related to the development and design of ballistic missiles, including intercontinental ones.
Countries stressed that the Iranian program for the development of ballistic missiles destabilizes the situation in the region.
"We call on Iran not to conduct any further launches of ballistic missiles and related activities, and we address the UN Secretary-General with our problems. The governments of France, Germany and the United Kingdom are discussing these issues on a bilateral basis with Iran and expressing their concern," the statement said.
