Senator Bernie Sanders who represents the Democratic Party of the United States walked out of the presidential campaign. He competed for the opportunity to run for presidency with Joe Biden, as CNN reports.
It is reported that he told his campaign participants about his decision on Wednesday, April 8. By his decision, he “cleared the way” for Biden, another Democratic candidate.
"Today, I suspended my campaign. But until the campaign ends, the fight for justice continues," Sanders wrote after a while on his Twitter.
As we reported before, US President Donald Trump fired intelligence general inspector Michael Atkinson, saying the official was wrong to provide an anonymous whistleblower complaint to Congress as the law requires.
Trump called Michael Atkinson a “disgrace” after informing Congress late Friday night that he intended to fire him. In letters to the House and Senate intelligence committees, Trump wrote that he had lost confidence in Atkinson but provided little detail.
