U.S. drone conducts monitoring flight over Donbas, Crimea

The UAV flew over the division line in Donbas and the coastlines of Crimea

An RQ-4, the reconnaissance drone of the U.S. Air Force performed a flight over the disputed territories of Ukraine. Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported that, referring to the open data of Western aviation sources.

The UAV took off the U.S. airbase on Sicily and headed for Donbas, where it hovered over the division line in Donetsk nd Luhansk regions. It also approached the Ukraine-Russia state border, 40 to 60 kilometers from the frontier. 

Then, the drone flew over the western and southern coastlines of Crimea; it approached the coast near the towns of Sevasotpol and Alupka. 

Last time the U.S. drone conducted a reconnaissance flight over Ukraine's Donbas was on January 7.
