Nancy Pelosi, the newly elected speaker of the House of Representatives of the U.S. Democratic Party, assumes there's a chance that President Donald Trump could be impeached. Pelosi said this in the interview with NBC News

"We shouldn’t be impeaching for a political reason,” Pelosi said. “And we shouldn’t avoid impeachment for a political reason", the official said.

The speaker added that before making the decision, the party will wait for the result of the investigation by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller who looks into Russia's meddling with 2016 presidential election in the U.S.

As is known, there's a shutdown procedure going on in the U.S. It's been underway since December 22, because the Congress cannot agree on the 2019 state budget. Trump insists that five billion U.S. dollars be assigned for the building of the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border; the Democrats are not ready to approve this step.
