United States Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russia's interference in the US presidential election in 2016, sent 40 questions to the President Trump. In response, the president called them shame. This was reported by The New York Times.
There were questions related to Michael T. Flynn, the former national security adviser.
"What did you know about phone calls that Mr. Flynn made with the Russian ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak, in late December 2016?" the text says.
These questions revolve around whether Mr. Trump tried to obstruct justice to protect Mr. Flynn from prosecution. His phone calls with Mr. Kislyak are at the heart of that inquiry.
Concerning Ukraine there was a question “What involvement did you have concerning platform changes regarding arming Ukraine?”
A portion of the Republican platform was changed in a way more favorable to Russia.
As it was reported earlier, Donald Trump, the U.S. President, started preparing for the questioning, which will be conducted by the Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller.
According to the given information, Trump has just started the preparation and studied the topics Mueller will probably mention during the questioning. Besides, it was noted that Trump has not officially approved the meeting.
