‘Subordinate behavior of the President towards President Putin really concerns us, the co-chairs of the bipartisan support group of Ukraine. The USA can’t consider the acts aimed at easing of democratic institutions in the USA, and also the allies abroad,’ reads the statement.

It is stressed that the illegal invasion of Russia into Ukraine is an attack on the peace and security of Europe. Also, the Congressman paid attention to the Russian attacks against the Ukrainian sovereignty.

‘We are also concerned about the attack of the Russian Government on Ukrainian sovereignty, including cyber attacks on agencies, aggression in Donbas and illegal occupation of Crimea,’ they claimed.

Reportedly, American President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Helsinki and have been talking one-on-one for more than one hour.

The meeting was criticized by mass media and politics. They called Trump ‘Putin’s poodle’ and ‘traitor’, and the meeting as a whole was a "shame."
