Seventeen Islamic State fighters were killed as a result of six air strikes on Sunday, carried out by the U.S. military on the Islamist camp in Libya. This is reported by Voice of America.

The African command of the United States noted in a special statement that the attacks were carried out on a camp located 240 kilometers southeast of the Sirte mountain, once the stronghold of IGIL on the territory of Libya.

This is the first such action in Libya during the term of office of President Trump.
