Jeff Sessions, the United States Attorney General disclosed the solicitude about the Russian aggression towards Ukraine to Sergey Kislyak, the Ambassador of Russia during the official meeting. ‘Did you raise the questions on the invasion of Russia to Ukraine or annexation of Crimea during this meeting?’, McCain asked.
Sessions confirmed that they discussed this and explained the situation that took place during the discussion.
‘I perfectly remember this. Before the meeting with the Russian Ambassador, I held a meeting with the Ukrainian Ambassador. I heard his worries towards Russia and then raised this issue during the talk with Kislyak’, the Attorney General noticed.
He also emphasized that Kislyak tried to assure him that all Russian actions on the territory of Ukraine are right.

Sessions confirmed that he met the Ambassador of Russia twice but they did not discuss something inappropriate. ‘I want to firmly claim that I never met and held any negotiations with the Russian officials that concern the last year American election of intervention to the election process’, Sessions said.
