It was not coincidental that of sanctions against 38 Russian individuals and organizations were imposed on the day when President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was in Washington, said Deputy Foreign Minister of Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov. His commentary on the website of the ministry says.

"Obviously, this is a"political present" to Petro Poroshenko, who was in the United States. Sanctions were introduced under the old pretext of events in Ukraine. The nonsense of this motivation is obvious, especially given that Americans are now actually accuse of the Ukrainian crisis, among others, the Moscow bike-center and a well-known company engaged in catering, "the commentary says.

Earlier it was reported that Poroshenko discussed strengthening of sanctions against Russia with US leadership. President stressed that there are concrete plans in this issue.

Earlier US expanded sanctions against Russia. The private military company Vagner and Concord Catering the firm of Evgeniy Prigozhin, the Russian billionaire are in the renewed sanction list.
