Nikki Haley, the United States Ambassador to the United Nations announced the possible secession of the USA from the UN Human Rights Council. BBC reports this.

According to her, the reason of this decision is the prejudicial treatment of Israel by UN.

'It is hard to accept the fact that five UN resolutions aimed against Israel that is the ally of the USA. In the same time there is no resolution dedicated to the situation in Venezuela', the ambassador emphasized.

Haley wrote in the Washington Post's article that UN should stop to falsely single out Israel to criticize.

Moreover, she added that UN department does not criticize enough Iran, the country with the awful state of the human rights and Venezuela, which is in the political unrest and where more that dozens of the protesters were killed during the antigovernmental meetings.

Donald Trump, the President of the USA announced the removal of US from the Paris Climate Agreement. According to him, the agreement will be reconsidered when it becomes more profitable for the USA.

The USA is the second country after China in amount of the greenhouse gas emission.
