The U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and the U.S. Secretary of Defense James N. Mattis held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Chrystia Freeland and Minister of National Defense of Canada Harjit Sajjan, reports Voice of America.
‘I have expressed concern due to recent aggression of Russia in the Sea of Azov, where it rammed and fired the ships of Ukraine,’ Secretary of State Mike Pompeo claimed.
Talking about the unity of defensive policy of the USA and Canada, the Head of Pentagon noted: ‘We are united in NATO, together with the European allies we are opposing the Russian malicious influence, including Russia's recent impudent attempt to violate international law in the Kerch Strait.’
