A lockdown that the Cabinet of Ministers intends to introduce in January will generally look like a weekend quarantine. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal informed about it, Ukrayinska Pravda reports.
"I announce that these measures will be generally similar to those that were during the weekend quarantine. Of course, some restrictions will be a little tougher, some - a little softer, that is, we will take into account all the factors and, say, the knowledge that has already been quarantined throughout this quarantine. We will take into account the peculiarities of such a winter and vacation period and we will also try to combine the opportunities which will be provided by the upcoming winter holidays with the need that is related to the introduction of such a break in the epidemiological chain," he stated.
As we reported earlier, according to the media resources, the Cabinet of Ministers has suggested introducing the lockdown in Ukraine from January 8 to January 25.
According to the proposals, the quarantine, which is introduced until the end of the year, will be extended to February 28, 2021.
