The United Nations says that seven people were killed and seven wounded in an attack on UN headquarters in Timbuktu, Mali. This was reported by the Associated Press.

As it was reported earlier White House will cut billions in funding for United Nations. The cuts would fall heaviest on U.N. programs, like peacekeeping, UNICEF, and the U.N. Development Programme.
