The UN plan that aims to combat Covid-19 collected already 396.5 million U.S. dollars. The money will go to the world's most vulnerable economies, writes Deutsche Welle

The plan foresees gathering over two billion dollars. The UN also continues to send medical equipment to the countries that are in need. 

"The signal of unity and resolution would mean a lot in the current uneast situation", UN Secretary General said.

Meanwhile, the all-time high record of deaths from coronavirus has been observed in Poland. 30 people deceased in this country for over 24 hours. "RMF24" reported that with a reference to the Ministry of Healthcare.

As of late April 9, the authority reported 5,575 cases of infection. 174 died and 284 recovered.

The Ministry also claimed that 160 people are in tough conditions, and they need oxygen masks to support normal breathing. 2,100 people are treated in infection units at hospitals.

As of Thursday, April 9, the number of patients in Ukraine reached 1,892. 57 people succumbed to the disease; another 45 people recovered.
