The UN International court’s decision will open new opportunities for Ukraine if there are any more lawsuits from Ukraine against the Russian Federation. Mark Feygin, the famous Russian lawyer, said so in his commentary for 112 Ukraine TV channel.

‘In this court, all decisions have certain material basis, and it’s quite tangible. From now on, Kyiv will be able to use more opportunities in other arbitrary courts, he said.

The decision of the UN International court in the Ukraine’s lawsuit against Russia is to be announced on April 19.

In January this year, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry filed a lawsuit against Russia, stating that the Russian side has been breaching UN conventions - the one for the suppression of the financing of terrorism and the one against racial discrimination. Ukraine demands that Russia stops sponsoring the illegal armed formations in Donbas and restores legal activity of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.
