UN increases sanctions against North Korea for 2 ballistic missiles launches

The UN Security Council added 9 individuals and 4 entities from North Korea to the UN lack list

The UN Security Council unanimously voted for increasing sanctions against North Korea, as Reuters reports.

The project of the resolution as developed by the US in response to two ballistic missiles launches by North Korea.

According to the document, North Korea is banned from exporting coal, iron and iron ore, lead and lead ore, and seafood. Apart from this, the UN members cannot increase the number of employees from North Korea and invest into joint projects with North Korean companies.

As it was reported earlier, the US offered to increase sanctions again North Korea
