The building of UN Headquarters will be temporarily closed for guided tours and mass events. Melissa Fleming, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications posted that on Twitter.

"Out of an abundance of caution and following the decision to reduce the number of staff present in the UN Secretariat, it has been decided to close the complex to the general public and to temporarily suspend all guided tours until further notice", she wrote.

The Ukrainian government may consider the introduction of quarantine and additional restrictions in Ukraine because of the Chinese coronavirus, or Covid-19. Oleksandr Dubinsky, the MP from Servant of the People party posted that on Telegram.

Interfax-Ukraine's source in the Cabinet confirmed that on Tuesday evening.
