Ex-Prime Minister of UK Tony Blair encourages the Western world countries not to neglect Ukraine in relations with the Russian Federation. The former official stated it during a panel discussion on the annual Yalta European Strategy forum. The European Truth reported that.

"The West World should be more insistent creating for the Russian Federation such incentives under which the non-implementation of Minsk agreements will make it feel greatly disadvantaged," he said.

However, Blair emphasized that strategic relationships with the Russia Federation are important for Europe but they should not be established through Ukraine.

As it was reported earlier, Special Representative of the US State Department Kurt Volker said that Russia had not yet demonstrated the political will to end the conflict in Donbas.

"Free elections can only be held in an honest and free, safe environment... Yet Russia has not demonstrated the political will to end the conflict," Volker said.
