Ukrtransnafta company, Ukraine's national oil transit operator, claimed about its readiness to resume oil transit to the European Union. The press service of the company reports this on Facebook.
“Today, May 6, 2019, the telegram about readiness to renew oil transit through the Druzhba pipeline was sent via line of the control service of the JSC Ukrtransnafta,” the report said.
Besides, JSC Mozyr has already started to provide oil with qualitative indicators in accordance with the norm in the Druzhba pipeline system in the direction of Ukraine for its further transportation to the EU.
Earlier, Ukrtransnafta company, Ukraine's national oil transit operator claimed that the oil transit from Russia has been temporarily suspended.
The transit is suspended on the Mozyr-Brody pipeline, which runs from southern Belarus to western Ukraine.
The Russian oil, polluted with organochlorine compounds ended up in Belarus and Ukraine; Poland refused to accept the supplies of the bad Russian oil through Druzhba pipeline. Thus, all three countries, Ukraine, Belarus and Poland temporarily stopped the admission and transit of the Russian oil. The Russian side promised to fix the problem.
