Marzanna Skoczek, the Director of District Department of Labor in Grojec, Poland claimed that the new rules on the employment for foreigners will come into force since January 2018. The applications of the intention to hire a foreigner will be replaced with the paid permissions for the seasonal works as Polske Radio reported.
‘The period of the work cannot surpass nine months during the calendar year and it is counted since the entry of the foreigner to Poland. The price for such document is 8.5 dollars’, Skoczek noted.
The aim of the implementation of the new rules is, first of all, is the adaptation of the Polish state norms to the EU legislation.
The procedure of the permit for the seasonal works will work in the crop farming, gardening, tourist and gastronomic spheres.
Earlier it was reported that the new permits will be of two kinds. The employer will make the application on the provision of the permission for the seasonal works if the foreigner is not in Poland. The foreigner will be able to issue the visa to Poland on the basis of this permission. The foreigners with the biometric passports can enter Poland without a visa. The employer is obliged to register such worker at the Labor Department.
