January 15, President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed concern about the failure to comply with truce in Donbas. He stated this during a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the press-service of the Ukrainian President reported.

According to the head of state, at the next consultations of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk on January 16, the Ukrainian side will actively work to promote additional measures for a complete and comprehensive ceasefire.

Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Ukrainian side has already identified a list of three additional sites for the disengagement of forces and assets.

“It is very important for us that these are humanitarian sections. This is important for people,” he stressed.

In addition, the president expressed concern about the non-admission of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross to illegally detained persons in uncontrolled territories.

As we reported, a meeting of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with his American counterpart Donald Trump in the White House is being prepared, however, specific dates for the visit have not yet been determined
