The Ukrainian satellite Sich-2-30 has passed customs and went to the United States of America. The launch of the spacecraft is scheduled for January. This was reported by the press service of the Dnipro city customs.

"The customs formalities were completed and the Ukrainian satellite Sich-2-30 was sent to the United States, without deviations from the schedule," the customs officials said.

According to the plan, when the satellite arrives in the United States, workers will prepare it for launch into orbit. The launch of the satellite is scheduled for January 10, 2022.

The satellite will be launched into space using the Falcon 9 rocket of the American company SpaceX.

Earlier it was reported that President Volodymyr Zelensky set the task of launching Ukrainian satellites in 2022, and in 2024 - a module to the moon.

As reported, the Yuzhnoe Design Bureau plans to launch the Ukrainian satellite Sich-2-1 as part of the SpaceX cluster mission. The contract for launching services was signed with the Dutch company ISILAUNCH.
