According to the ministry, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Rivne, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy regions, and the city of Kyiv.
The highest incidence rate is observed in Chernivtsi region - 452.3 cases per 100 thousand population, in Khmelnytskyi region - 410.1, and in Zhytomyr region - 380.5.

The official believes that the free movement of people across the EU should be restricted because it only hastens the speed of infection spread.
