There is no Ukrainian region that is ready to ease quarantine restrictions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

According to the ministry, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Rivne, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy regions, and the city of Kyiv.

As we reported earlier, according to Mark Ryan, the head of the WHO program for emergencies in healthcare, governments of European countries are underachieving in terms of fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

The official believes that the free movement of people across the EU should be restricted because it only hastens the speed of infection spread. 

He added that there would be no need for imposing strict lockdowns if every European duly protected oneself from the disease.
