Leaders of two states discussed topical issues of cooperation in terms of international organizations

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko conducted telephone conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the initiative of Israeli side. Sides discussed the importance of bilateral cooperation in various spheres. This was reported by presidential press service.

"The parties confirmed mutual willingness to intensify bilateral cooperation in various spheres," press service says.

"The two leaders discussed topical issues of interaction within international organizations. In this regard Benjamin Netanyahu expressed sincere thanks for constructive and friendly position of Ukraine in terms of United Nations," press service informs.

Parties also expressed hope that the visit of Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman to Israel in May will be successful. Ukrainian President invited Israeli PM to visit Ukraine at his convenience.

Parties separately confirmed the willingness to complete negotiations about Free Trade Area between Ukraine and Israel by the end of 2017. 

Additionally, Poroshenko informed the interlocutor on signature of the Law on Ratification of the Ukraine-Israel Agreement on Joint Production of Movies and Cooperation in the Sphere of Cinematography.
