Ukrainian political prisoner Sergy Lytvynov, convicted in Russia on fabricated charges in the commitment of the robbery, serves sentence in Ukraine for four months as Hromadske reported.

According to the political prisoner, he stays there since March 1, 2019. The article due to which he serves sentence is the same as in Russia, robbery.

He stayed five years in the Russian jail. The management of Dykanivska prison confirmed that 3,5 years of sentence are left.

When Lytvynov was asked on how he appeared in Ukraine, Lytvynov said: “I do not understand what I am doing here, I was deported to the motherland from Magadan. In Magadan, in court, I was told that Ukraine agreed that I should serve sentence at home but Ukraine could not say it. I was taken to Starobilsk remand center, Bilovodsk court  (court in Luhansk region, - session was held without me and the court sent me here, the penal colony”.

He added that wrote a letter with the request of pardon to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. The management of the colony confirmed that the documents on pardon were sent to Kyiv on June 27.

 Lytvynov was accused of murder of a few civilians at the territory of Stanytsia-Luhanska and use of the banned warfare methods. However, this information was not confirmed. So, convicted in Russia Ukrainian Lytvynov demanded an apology. He stated that he was illegally detained in Russian prison and tortured.

Later Lytvynov faced accusation of robbery and was sentenced to 8,5 years in the penal colony due to this accusations.
